Everything you need to know before the big day

The WiT Forum is Finland's biggest annual gathering of tech professionals, company representatives, and people figuring out where they want to go in the industry.

This edition covers what the community asked for. Every career stage is welcome, from early-career to the executive level, with an emphasis on women.

Tech Horizons: Impacting our Future

Technology is reshaping work, leadership and society at speed. But where is tech actually taking us, and what does it mean for the people building, using and leading it? One full day where the Finnish tech community gathers to explore what's on the horizon.

A day worth
taking off work for

01

Keynotes that stay with you

Speakers with something actual to say about where technology is going. Not inspiration, but the kind of talk you're still thinking about two weeks later.

02

Honest conversations

Panels and workshops where people talk about work as it actually is. The uncomfortable questions get airtime here.

03

Your new favourite people

1000+ people from across Finnish tech in one place. Bring questions. The hallway conversations are half the point.

Forum 2026 brings together tech professionals, leaders, and emerging talent to look at what's on the horizon: AI, cybersecurity, sustainability tech, data sovereignty, and the future of work and leadership.

Through keynotes, panels, focus sessions, and conversation, we'll explore the opportunities and challenges ahead, creating space for knowledge sharing, honest exchange, and new connections across the community.

The morning looks at where tech is heading. The afternoon zooms in on what it means for our work, careers, and how we lead.

Answers, ahead of time

Why does my ticket need approval?

Registrations are reviewed manually before confirmation. We do this to keep a balanced room across career stages and to verify WiT community membership for free tickets. Places are allocated first-come, first-served within each category, so it's worth registering early. You'll get an email once your spot is confirmed.

What's the waitlist policy?

When a category fills up, you will automatically join the waitlist. Spots open up when someone cancels, and we assign them by random draw from everyone on the waitlist — not by who joined first. So it's always worth adding your name, even later on: your chances don't depend on being early in the queue.

How much are tickets?

The Forum is free for WiT community members. Members receive an email with a code to redeem for a free ticket. Non-member tickets are €49 with lunch or €39 without.

Not a member yet? Join for free at womenintech.fi.

How do I cancel my ticket?

If you cannot attend, please cancel as soon as possible or by October 3, 2026 at the latest to avoid food waste and allow someone else to take your place.

On Lu.ma you can cancel in two ways:

  • Open your confirmation email, click on "Event Page" button, then click "No longer able to attend? Notify the host by canceling your registration" and click confirm.
  • Or go straight to the event page, click "No longer able to attend? Notify the host by canceling your registration" and confirm.
I joined the community after I already bought my ticket, what do I do?

Members attend free, so let us know here if you'd like your ticket price refunded and still keep your place at the Forum. Let us know by 3 October.

Tickets are personal and can't be transferred or resold. If you can't come, please cancel so we can offer your place to someone on the waitlist.

If we cancel or move the event, you get the full ticket price back.

Who are the confirmed speakers and partners?

Partners are being added to the site as they come on board. Speakers will be announced as the programme takes shape in the months ahead.

Sign up to become a community member and get free access to the Forum and all our events. You'll receive our newsletter with the latest announcements and be the first to be notified by email when Forum tickets go live. You can also follow Women in Tech Finland on LinkedIn and Instagram.
